Sixly

Hi. I’m your personal AI tutor.

Do your SAT® math the way you always do. I see your work as you write. I listen, talk it through with you out loud, and mark up your page.

Founding class starts January 2027, ahead of the March 6 SAT.

When you study alone, the answer key says you got it wrong. It can’t say where.

Sixly sees the line that went wrong,
and talks you through it.

Watch Sixly catch a mistake.

Product demo with captions. A student works an SAT algebra problem by hand: 3 times the quantity x minus 4 equals 2x plus 5. Sixly underlines the whole second line, writes 3 times 4 with a question mark in the margin, and asks out loud how the 3 was distributed. The student answers, rewrites the line as 3x minus 12 equals 2x plus 5, and Sixly confirms x equals 17.

It remembers. Then it plans.

The mistakes that keep showing up in your work become tonight’s plan. You and your parents can see what Sixly remembers and delete any of it.

Tonight’s plan

9 questions from 3 mistakes that came back

  1. 4 distribution questions, from Tuesday, 3rd time: Distributed the 3 to the first term only
  2. 3 questions with a negative to move, from Thursday, 4th time: Got a sign wrong when moving a term
  3. 2 percent change questions, from Saturday, 2nd time: Took 20% of the new price, not the original

It keeps track of

  • Mistakes from your work and how often they come back
  • Which skills are solid and which need practice
  • Your goal, test date and settings

It never keeps

  • Recordings of your voice
  • Guesses about how you feel
  • Personal details, like your family, friends or school

You and your parents can correct or delete any of it. A parent can also turn memory off.

Built for the digital SAT®. Down to the timer.

  • Talk to it. Out loud.

Ask out loud, or let it speak up when you’re stuck. It listens to your thinking and talks it through with you, like a tutor sitting next to you. Minus the small talk.

The student asks: Can I divide both sides by 3 first? Sixly answers: You could. What happens to the 2x + 5? The student says: Oh, fractions. I'll distribute first.

  • Apple Pencil? Optional.

Any stylus works. So does a drawing pad, your phone used as a pad, a mouse, or typing your steps.

From above, on a white table: a tablet with a tangerine stylus lying on its screen, a phone, a mouse and a keyboard.
  • Practice that feels like test day.

Bluebook-style modules with real timing. Module 2 adapts to how Module 1 went, just like the digital SAT.

  • Desmos, coached.

Sixly shows you when graphing beats algebra. Same problem, two lines, one crossing point. Done in seconds.

    x = 17

Real instructors, too. Live, every week.

A live class, once a week.

A real instructor teaches it live. Checkpoint questions land on your own whiteboard, so the instructor sees who’s stuck, and on which step.

Checkpoint 2: Solve 4(x − 3) = 2x + 6.

Illustration: a class of 24 students answering the checkpoint on their own whiteboards. Most have solved it, three are still working, and three are stuck on step 2.

1-on-1, when you want it.

Want a person? Your tutor replays your whiteboard work before you meet, so you skip the recap and start where you got stuck.

The replay shows the student writing 30 times 0.2 equals 6, then 30 minus 6 equals 24. Sixly underlines the first line and writes: 20% of what? The student crosses both lines out, writes x plus 0.2x equals 30, then x equals 25, and it is checked.

Sixly’s hint Fixed

Still at it at 9 p.m.? So is your tutor.

Start your SAT practice and Sixly is there to watch your page, hear your question, talk it through with you and mark up your work. Nothing to book, no rides, no waiting for next week’s session.

For parents. The calm version.

Questions. Answered.

What do I need?

A laptop or tablet with a web browser. No Apple Pencil needed: any stylus works, and so does a drawing pad or your phone used as a pad. A mouse works too, and so does typing your steps.

Do I have to talk out loud?

No. Hold the talk button when you want to say something; the microphone is on only while you hold it. You can type your questions instead.

What can my parents see?

A weekly report: time studied, accuracy by skill, the mistakes that came up and next week’s plan. They can also watch a replay of the work behind any answer.

What does Sixly remember about me?

The mistakes that keep coming back, which skills are solid, and your goal, test date and settings. It never keeps recordings of your voice or guesses about how you feel. You and your parents can correct or delete any of it, and a parent can turn memory off.

When does it launch?

The founding class starts in January 2027, ahead of the March 6 SAT. The waitlist gets in first, in list order.

How much will it cost?

Pricing isn’t set yet. Founding members lock in the founding price once it is, and you’ll see it before you pay anything.

Who makes Sixly?

Sixly was founded by a Cornell student and comes from the team behind IvyPath Academy, which tutors students for the SAT and SHSAT in New York.

Is the ACT or SHSAT coming?

Yes. The SAT comes first; the ACT and the SHSAT follow on the same platform.
